MANCHESTER UNITED PLAYER ANDER HERRERA REACT TO INJURY BLOW VS LIVERPOOL FC

Ander Herrera has spoken of his frustration at being forced off with a hamstring injury in the 21st minute of Manchester United's goalless draw against Liverpool at Old Trafford.
The Spain international was the first of three United players to pull up with hamstring problems in the first half of the Premier League fixture, with Juan Mata and Mata's subsequent replacement, Jesse Lingard, both withdrawn before the interval.
It was a freakish set of circumstances that left the Reds' caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solksjaer without the opportunity to make changes in the second half, with Marcus Rashford visibly struggling after suffering a knock early on.
Herrera, who has still to sign a new deal at United with his current contract expiring in the summer, has played a key role in United's rejuvenation under Solskjaer, forming an reliable understanding with Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic in a midfield three.

And the 29-year-old said he was impressed with the way United adapted after the early set-backs against the Premier League leaders.
"It was frustrating to have to leave the pitch in such an important game for us," the midfielder posted on instagram
But I'm proud of every one of my teammates today.
"They fought against the circumstances and gave everything on the pitch."
United's draw extended Solskjaer's unbeaten Premier League run to 10 games, and the careatker boss said he was delighted with his side's showing in testing circumstances.
You’re never surprised in football, you’ve always got to be ready AND CONFIDENT for anything," the Norwegian explained. "Losing three players in the first half with hamstring injuries and we probably should’ve taken Marcus off as well. He [Rashford] is a Manc and he knows what this means. We had to keep him on because we’d made three subs.
“You come out with so many positives today, the fans were our 11th man today because we had half of Marcus and the crowd was fantastic."
